So first what is the HTML 5? HTML 5 is the “fifth major change in the base language of the World Wide Web. Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)” W3C Working Draft 10 June 2008. One of the biggest challenges for the HTML 5 is that it will replace Flash. While there is certainly an option for this at this point is not, it is unlikely in any way. Do not listen to everything you said Steve Jobs. It is important, because Flash is not as easily identifiable to Google when indexing. Sometimes flash cannot be indexed at all. But Google can index Flash, which is a common mistake. It even shows you how you can get your Flash indexed on the Google developers. The thing about HTML 5 is that the indexing of your site will be much easier to make SEO more efficient. At this stage, the HTML 5 does not replace Flash. In fact, they should be used together.
