Facebook is the most popular social networking site in the world. But, unfortunately, is also a popular destination among phishers and other social engineers. Tons of fake profiles and the game is to identify which of them is authentic. We also consider the action to report abuse on social networks, and to report the sexual exploitation of children online.
Believe me, if you find a fake profiles with your real name, so it can be a sign of identity theft seriously. They have imitated your profile and prepared for some illegal activities online or they can even use it against you.
Fake Facebook profile holders have the same intention as phishers; they will use your name for more information. You can report a fake facebook profile through two ways. Both come handy if you are harassed by imitating your profile, or if you find profiles of cloned into an unlawful purpose.
How do I report a fake Facebook profile?
- Go to the profile
- Scroll to the bottom of the left column and click “Report/Block This Person“
- Click “This profile is pretending to be someone or is fake“
- Choose “Pretending to be me” from the type drop-down
- Click “Continue” to submit your report
Or send an e-mail login [at] Facebook [dot] com and tell them that it is false profile created in his name. Also provide contact information so that the media can contact Facebook for more information.

Hello facebook.. management team.. I m in much problem with a fake account created sisters.. i have reported it many times but of no use,, its still not deleted ,, i dnt knw how to proceed as it i badly harming my reputation… please take care of dis as early as possible… i hope some one would turn up and delete the account.. pleasse, please, please,,, help me out !!
