Social Networking and Blog Sites getting even more poular, social

network or blog sites are visited by 75% of online users, reports Nielson.

Despite a fast-growing net population, India due to its present

low numbers, fails to appear in the list of top 10 socially networked countries.
A comparable developing country Brazil has highest percentage (86%) of Internet consumers visiting a social network. The popularity of social networking in Brazil is due to the Orkut phenomenon, which continues to be strong there. In India, Orkut is steadily losing ground to Facebook.
